I am writing this letter on behalf of Melinda Duncan to express my gratitude for all the hard work that she has
done as our wedding planner over the past year. I would recommend her for future wedding planning.
Melinda Duncan has particularly good planning and preparation skills. Matt and I got married on October 4th,
2008. She diligently assisted with planning each part of our wedding and was careful to be as involved as we
wanted her to be, without over stepping boundaries. She provided us with checklists, and called to check in with
us to make sure we were on schedule with planning the event.
Melinda was responsible for communicating with vendors, as well as making appointments, and checking
vendor's references. She had plenty of information regarding local vendors and recommendations to assist us
in our decision-making. She answered MANY of our phone calls through the process and handled all questions
we had in a timely manner. We were planning the wedding from out of state, so she faxed documents to us and
helped get all our paper work in order.
On the weekend of the wedding she organize and facilitated both the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. It
was so nice to have someone taking care of the small details, making sure everyone was doing their job in the
right place. She also decorated the reception hall, and did a a great job communicating with the D.J., the
photographer, and the reception facilities.
Melinda did such a great job making sure everything ran smoothly. Matt, I , and our families did not have to
worry about anything. We could enjoy the day fully, and the day was PERFECT. We would not change a thing.
We had heard that not everything goes as planned, but it did! We know that was because of all Melinda's hard
work.

I had Melinda help me with my wedding. She was full of valuable information. She was reliable, Open minded,
Fun, And really made me feel comfortable. We met a couple month before the wedding and I told her exactly
what I wanted while she took notes. She had so many helpful hints. She gave me information I didn't even know I
needed. I look back on my wedding day and there is no way it would have ran as smoothly as it did without her.
She really made it all about me. One thing that really impressed me was how she did not let anything or anyone
discourage her from her job. Even when my dad yelled at her she just kept right on with a smile on her face.
(what my dad was yelling about had nothing to do with her) She fixed the problem and moved on without anybody
knowing. Also what I loved about having her there was you really can't rely on family and friends to help on the
wedding day because they are busy with mingling and pictures also. Plus, its just easier to ask favors if your
paying for help. Its only one day. If you are too bossy to your friends and family they will remember it the next day.
Melinda takes it with a grain of salt.
During the dance at my wedding, my dress was coming apart at the bottom. I was just going to take it off but
Melinda took me in back, got out her pins and needles and fixed it. Nobody even knew we were gone. Not one
person there could have pulled that off. And she did it without any stress. I am so thankful that I had Melinda
there for me. I would not have wanted it any other way. Any bride would be so lucky to have her help on there
